Anne began cycling in1989 and started cycling seriously in1992.  She has done extensive self-contained cycle touring including 2 months in Iceland, 4 months in New Zealand, 2 months Seattle to the Mexican Border, 3 months in Norway, Finland, Sweden, and 6 weeks in Denmark.  She has cycled 400 miles across the Alaskan Arctic, south to north across the Arctic in Norway and north to south in Finland.  She completed 48 miles of the Iditasport 2000 race.

 

Her current cycling passion is the various group rides in Greensboro on her new Lynskey custom titanium bike.  In the past two years her average speed has increased from 15 mph to 17+ mph.  Future plans are cycling the entire coast of Norway, cycling in in Switzerland, and perhaps another tour in New Zealand.
